HLN Meteorologist to Raise Public Awareness of IBD: Morning Express with Robin Meade's Van Dillen Signs on as Honorary Chairman of CCFA's Team Challenge ProgramBob Van Dillen, meteorologist on "Morning Express with Robin Meade," airing weekdays on CNN sister-station HLN, is serving as honorary Chairman of CCFA's half marathon training and fundraising program, Team Challenge. Van Dillen is training to cross the finish line at the Napa-to-Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon on July 19 while spreading the word about Crohn's and colitis. Virtual "IBD March on the Hill" Increases Funding for Digestive Disease Research The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America and Shire plc are joining forces to launch the first-ever virtual "Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) March on the Hill." The free program calls on Facebook users to take a virtual "step" around the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to help raise awareness and funds for IBD research. Shire will donate $1 per footstep to CCFA for research, education and support initiatives for each of the first 30,000 steps taken!
